Avery House
The Mitchellville Drifters provide annual aid and assistance for residents of Avery House, a residential facility that provides sober-living transitional housing for mothers and their children.
For more than 20 years, the Mitchellville Drifters have proudly supported the families of Avery House. Each November, our members host a Thanksgiving meal for residents and their children, provide much-needed household essentials for the mothers, and deliver wrapped Christmas gifts for the children, bringing support, joy, and a little extra holiday cheer to the families we serve.
